Job Description

CD PROJEKT RED is looking for a Motion Capture Specialist to join our studio in Warsaw. In this hands-on role, you’ll be involved in both mocap session preparation and post-processing. You’ll also support our team in enhancing our tools and stage setups, gaining exposure to advanced workflows while making a direct impact on our animation quality.

Daily responsibilities:

• Operating the motion capture system during recording sessions.
• Assisting in setting up props and stage layout for shoots.
• Processing mocap data, including solving and retargeting.
• Collaborating with the team on pipeline improvements.
• Participating in pre-production planning meetings.
• Maintaining and supporting studio equipment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience working with motion capture in a production environment.
• Experience with Shogun or Blade software.
• Familiarity with Autodesk MotionBuilder or Maya.
• Basic scripting skills (e.g., Python, HSL, JavaScript) or a willingness to learn.
• Detail-oriented and dependable in high-pressure environments.
• Open to feedback, learning, and sharing knowledge.
• Strong communication skills and comfort with public interaction.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).

Working mode

• Office-First: working primarily from the Warsaw office.
• Relocation to Poland is required for those residing abroad.
