Walking Through the RED Summer Internship

If you've ever dreamed of working in game dev, the RED Summer Internship program could be your perfect starting point.

The RED Summer Internship is a valuable opportunity to gain real industry experience, collaborate with professionals, and explore the fascinating and wonderful world behind game development.

We asked our Senior Recruiter Karolina Należyty to walk you through the program and share what makes it truly special.

An Opportunity Like No Other

Hey everyone! As a recruiter, I not only get a front row seat to all the excitement surrounding our RED Summer Internship program, but I also have the privilege of helping to shape it. And trust me, it’s something special. If you’ve ever dreamed of working in game dev, from the development itself to the myriad essential teams which keep a game studio running, this is your chance to get hands-on experience in one of the most unique industries out there. So, why should you apply? Let me walk you through it!

Gain Real Industry Experience

At RED Summer Internship, you’ll be working on real projects, tackling meaningful challenges, and gaining first-hand insight into how a game studio operates. Whether you’re joining Engineering, Design, VFX, Marketing, HR, Tax, or any other area, you’ll have the chance to contribute from day one and see how different teams collaborate to bring projects to life.

People Make the Difference

One of the best things about this program? You’re never on your own. Every intern gets a dedicated mentor or buddy — someone who’s there to guide you, answer your questions, and help you navigate your first steps in the industry. Plus, you’ll be surrounded by experienced professionals who love sharing their knowledge and passion.

Beyond the Skills — What Do You Really Gain?

Sure, you’ll build valuable technical skills relevant to your field, but this internship is also a crash course in soft skills like communication, teamwork, adaptability, and problem solving — things that make a difference in any career path. You’ll also gain insight into the many different teams that make a game studio function, and seeing how all these areas interconnect may open your eyes to career possibilities you hadn’t considered before.

Boosting Your Career

You’ll leave the internship with hands-on knowledge, industry connections, and maybe even a portfolio of work that will set you apart in future applications. And who knows? Maybe one day we’ll see you in the hiring process for a full-time role!

Sounds Good? Here’s What You Need to Know

The RED Summer Internship is a paid, full-time program running from July to September and based in Poland. We welcome recent high school graduates and university students who are eager to learn and contribute.
