The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered is now available, so we wanted to talk through some of the changes players can expect when embarking on this upgraded journey with Geralt of Rivia.

Remastered grew from our idea to release a brand-new expansion for The Witcher 3, as during the development process of Songs of the Past — which launches in 2027 — we found the need to upgrade some elements of the base The Witcher 3 experience. But as we tweaked this, and added that, we got more and more intrigued by the idea of releasing a full upgrade to the game.

And thus, Remastered was born. Free for existing owners, it modernizes our open-world role-playing game with a slew of upgrades and enhancements to visuals, performance, gameplay, and more. Check out some of those changes in the before-and-after screenshots below.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
